Veuve Clicquot

Building upon our previous collaboration with Moët Hennessy in designing a champagne trolley for
The Jane, we were approached again in 2024 to create a bespoke service cart for Carcasse, the
renowned meat restaurant led by Hendrik Dierendonck and chef Timon Michiels. The challenge
was to harmoniously blend Carcasse’s robust identity with the elegance of Veuve Clicquot,
enhancing the tableside champagne experience and offering guests a direct selection of various
champagnes.
Our design features a steel base in Veuve Clicquot’s signature color—a vibrant yellow-orange hue
known as the ‘Yellow Label’. This is complemented by red-veined marble, referencing
Dierendonck’s ‘Oedslach’ product line. A white box symbolizes Veuve Clicquot’s freshness, with
subtle yellow-orange accents present in the ice bucket ring and lower shelf. We also considered
practical aspects such as maneuverability and an integrated drip tray for ice condensation. The
result is a service cart that seamlessly marries Carcasse’s hearty ambiance with Veuve Clicquot.
