A Man's World
Six Edges is a premium menswear brand based in Ghent, Belgium. They wanted to create a minimalist yet intimate showroom-cum-office in a former spinning mill, while maintaining the open feel of the 250 sqm space.
A solution was found in a freestanding glass and wardrobe wall, which creates the necessary intimacy while preserving the breathable, open feel. Around 120 meters of custom black rail systems with white linen veils from Verilin hang lightly throughout the space, providing a graceful division into separate volumes without compromising spatiality.
Tables and clothes hangers were also designed entirely to measure, and the latter are hung from the existing steel structure using leather straps and magnets.
