Top chef Nick Bril of star restaurant The Jane was so pleased with the collaboration with his restaurant that he recently asked us to make his private home in Antwerp a bit more edgy as well. Just like in The Jane, we got a wildcard for some very targeted plug-ins in the interior. “Bjorn sharpened everything here at home,” said the chef.

In the hallway, for example, you will find an ‘out-of-the-box’ cloakroom cupboard: a minimalist block sculpture with a mirror, reflective materials and an integrated flap bench. The pinnacle of the collab is two doors down in Bril’s ‘music room’: a sculptural DJ booth. Because in addition to his shifts in The Jane, Bril is also a much sought-after DJ. “And for that I have to train at home in my man cave,” he laughs. ‘Clubs pay a lot of attention to a beautiful DJ furniture, but it is not for sale as designer furniture for private individuals. So Bjorn drew one for me. It has become a beautiful object, functional and aesthetic at the same time, with plexi trays for my vinyl and plinths for my KEF speakers.
